CES is coming to a close soon, but we all know that the rumors and leaks surrounding the "next big thing" don't seem to ever stop coming. Samsung as at least 3 high profile devices coming our way in the first half of 2014.
Samsung told Bloomberg that the Galaxy S5 is on track for an April release, per the schedule established with the S4 and the S3 before it. The publication also says that Samsung is testing an "eye scanning" feature for the device. The new Galaxy handset will also be accomponyed by the successor to the Galaxy Gear. The Executive Vice President of Samsung's mobile division says that the watch will consist of "more advanced functions, and the bulky design will also be improved."
Also making the rounds today thanks to GSMArena is a leaked spec sheet for a budget version of the Note 3, called the Galaxy Note 3 Neo. We are looking at a slightly smaller screen, two fewer CPU cores, less RAM, and more specification cuts all around. It's to be expected, but time will tell how much Samsung will be asking us to spend on this "budget" handset.
