Google's 2013 model of the Nexus 7 tablet was unveiled in both Wi-Fi only and LTE capable versions. On the list of supported carriers for the LTE edition, Verizon was listed initially. However, customers found themselves being given a big fat "no" when inquiring about activating their new Nexus 7 on Big Red's network.
Verizon let loose on Twitter earlier today that the Nexus 7 will finally be available just in time for Valentine's Day. On February 13th, the tablet will be available online and in stores for $349.99 with a $100 discount available if you sign a two-year contract along with it. You should be able to activate the LTE model you already have on the network as well.
