As long as they don't brand the front of the phone like they did with the Note2, all is good. I ended up getting a new battery door for my GS3 from the International version.. no branding... although a consumer shouldn't have to do that in the first place. I actually don't mind branding on the back, but on the home button? .. come on now.

I have no problem with the tiny branding on my Note2 home button...better than the billboard branding on the front of every other VZW device, which is what will happen to the GS4. And my flip case has no branding on the front or back. :D

Received mine on Saturday, loving it so far.

Is there any way of removing the constant wifi notification?

There is but you have to be rooted and on a stock odex/deodex ROM. There's a mod available from the guys over at XDA.

Ok thanks man. Yeah I plan on rooting it in a few days when I have the time to mess around with it, I'm still getting used to all the new Samsung features. Thanks for the link, I'll check that out.

Unfortunately, no.  I have two problems:

1) Since VZW decided to extend all contracts to full 24 months, I now have to wait until Jan 2014 before I can do anything.

2) I really, REALLY, do not want to be under another contract.

Right now I have a borrowed GS3 on T-mobile mainly to test the network, and so far I'm not disappointed.  They (Tmob) still have some work to do in my area but by the time Jan 2014 rolls around, I may be leaving "big red" after 10+ years as a customer.

Google needs to release the Nexus 5 with LTE and price it at $300-350 the way they did with the N4. That way at least you have the option of buying a phone off contract and not pay Verizons ridiculous $650-700 for a new device.

Well its not just Verizon, other carriers off contract prices are just as expensive. The HTC One sells for something around $600 but I agree Google should release more devices at affordable prices that can run on more networks.

I was tempted to upgrade from the GS3 to the GS4 but right now Im locked into unlimited data which I dont want to really lose.. so I may be paying for my next device off contract as long as its somewhat affordable. Hopefully they do release a Nexus 5 that works with Verizon but I'm also tempted to switch to a different carrier if something nicer catches my eye.

Its just scary to go from Verizon to TMobile but I keep hearing that its not all that bad.
