September 25th is on the screen.. I hope they're not waiting that long to release the phone if they're going to announce it on August 1st... 2 month wait O_o

So I got a chance yesterday to play around the store with the Galaxy Nexus, HTC One, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2 and the Blackberry Z10 for the hell of it all at the same time.

The Galaxy Nexus, felt kind of small to me after using a GS3 for so long, so I'm thinking the Moto X could be in the same category if its going to be the same size... but overall I can deal with it. The Galaxy S4.. I think I'm done with Galaxy phones for a while, its time for something different. The HTC One was nice, I like the overall design especially in the silver color... didn't so much like the black. The Note 2 I've decided is way too big for me for everyday use.

So I've narrowed my choices down to the Moto X, HTC One and Nexus 5. Galaxy S4 and Note 3 are out the door.

Here it is in white. Not a fan of this version personally.

I like it with the black front and white background. The Schmidt look :)

What does everyone think of the power and volume rocker both on the same side. Hate it or love it?

Neat. It will certainly be about the software. The phone ain't to shabby either.

I'm okay with it. It might make it easier to boot into recovery.

I have the N7 with both buttons on the same side.  It works ok but since I have my N7 in a wooden case sometimes I don't press the correct button.   I look the look of this phone. Similar screen view and size to my Gnex and I really don't want to hold a phone any bigger than this in my hand.

Like the curvy back - now all I want is to see this thing in some type of metal back.
