The pricing is great. Looks like a worthy successor.

Sounds like a solid tablet to me... I'll be picking one up.

Way better screen, a huge boost in RAM and a new quadcore processor, thinner bezel, amongst other new features. This is a nice upgrade from the original N7. If I didn't have the N10 I'd be buying this.

Apparently it's just 2 gigs of RAM, which sorta sucks.

Also, you can sort of pre-order one now, although the actual link is somewhat dead.

Link seems to be back up! ... it redirects to the 16GB model...

Now I really don't know if I should get the 16 or 32 Gb...

It'll depend on whether I can use my OTG cable or not, I guess I don;t see why not?

@N3xs, I'm fine with 16gb TBH.  Never get close to filling anything, and my OCD makes me delete stuff daily lol.

@dmmarck, I was using 12GB on mine and I can definitely do without a bunch if apps and games I had installed...

The only problem I foresee is when I travel (not often but it does happen) ... I have MX Player and uTorrent and I used to download about 2-4 movies (depending on the flight duration) which are each about 1-2GB ... that's why I mentioned the OTG cable ;)

Still rocking my old gen Nexus 7 at the moment, but I can't wait to get my hands on one of these. I'm especially looking forward to giving that new screen a go. That was one of my biggest disappointments (and only disappointment, really) with the original N7.

I never got the chance to use the old N7, but I can say this new one is awesome! I love the screen and everything about it. Super quick and plays games like no other. I like the size and weight as well. For my first tablet I could not be happier.

Ahowe125 great to hear! I haven't heard any serious complaints yet from anyone who has the new N7. Really looking forward to getting one in my hands soon.

Aside from some zany things (ie screen lift), even the old N7 was widely hailed. Great stuff from Google/Asus!
