Wug updated the Nexus Root Toolkit to version 1.6.8 to work with Android 4.3.  Apparently when I got the update I remained unlocked but lost root.  I'm now once again rooted.

I just tried this and it worked:

Did a new update get pushed to the Nexus? I have only gotten those first 2. I'll have to check when I get home.

Android 4.3 was pushed out about a week or so ago.

Oh, was this thread talking about the 2012 Nexus? I have the 2013 version and even after flashing 2 updates fresh out of the box I was able to Unlock and Root with no issues.

Did you root manually or with a toolkit?

Aye, sorry about that.  I forget there's a 2013 version now.

Did you root manually or with a toolkit?

I used the method that Cory posted here - http://forums.theand...indows-version/

I'm assuming this is the manual method because I had to use ADB and commands?

Aye, sorry about that.  I forget there's a 2013 version now.

No problem, I'm sure it happens a lot for most. I never had the old one so I forget it is out there.
