And the rumors continue. Again with rumors of LG making the next Nexus based on the G2 but with some modifications. Take a look...http://androidcommun...icing-20130813/

The link to this rumor says that the Next Nexus may be based on the G2 but would lose something perhaps getting a S600 instead of a 800.  I thought the Nexus line was supposed to set the bar or mark..Something the rest of the manus should be aspiring to do.  Coming out with a 600 instead of the 800 doesn't seem to fit this idea, but maybe I have been wrong about the Nexus, unless the message from Google is "OK the 600 is good enough to run android so, hold off with creating faster processors."

There are several rumors going around and they all vary as to whether or not it will have the S800.

I'd be more concerned as to whether or not Oppo has the capability to produce enough Nexus devices if Google called on them for the next one. Not that I'm saying it would happen, but obviously Android version wouldn't be a factor if we're talking about a Nexus phone. :P

Motorola Droid > Motorola Droid X > Samsung Fascinate > Samsung Galaxy S III > Motorola Droid RAZR HD MAXX

Quite honestly I don't care who makes the next one, I just want one on Verizon. lol

Top end specs are a plus, but as the moto X may have shown, its not everything.
