Looks like the only inconsistent information has been the size of the battery.  I've seen 3200 to 3400 to 3600 and now back to 3400.

What's more important is if they're gonna do better at optimizing the software to avoid the performance issues that came with the S4's release.

I guess it doesn't surprise me that they would choose their own chipset, but man is that bad news regardless of optimizations.

@Lee, how does the Note 2 perform? Any lag at all?

I see nothing wrong with their own chipset, stutter issues aside on the S4 their phones perform super well.

I would seriously consider a Note 3 (my wife has the Note 2) IF I could get rid of the Touchwiz crap and not ruin the S Pen features.

The pen is awesome, but the Touchwiz notification shade is an abomination. I would have to gouge out my eyeballs if I had to look at that damn ugly green toggle 25 times a day.

Stock but rooted 4.1.2 and zero lag.

Well, let me clarify.  When playing Ingress and going into an area with a lot of enemy portals and I start attacking, yes it will lag a bit, but that's also an incredible video load on the device at that time.  I've seen the S4, Droid DNA and HTC One to the same thing.

It's not that bad, I mean the S4's tray is kind of a dark blue with green for the toggles when they're on which doesn't really fit together but other than that I don't mind it.
