Does anyone use Carbon?  I'm looking to switch from CM but I want to give this a shot if it's up to snuff.

Thoughts?

I loved it on my GNex, better than AOKP.  I tried it on my Note but it simply wasn't for me, being a non-TouchWiz ROM (which defeats the purpose of the Note IMO).

Anyway, I say give it a go, I really like the stuff they do.

Thanks!  I will, it's just a pain with market restore.  Tonight may be the night!

Still have the Gnex?  Throw Carbon on there to try it out first.

I do.  Haven't booted it up since April though lol.  Worth a shot...

Fire that baby up!  It might refuel your passion for the Nexus line...or remind you of why you ditched it!

lol..I do use my Nexus 7 daily.

In fact, I think I referenced this in the other post, but the Moto X reminds me a LOT of the GN.

Forgot about the N7...I actually use mine everyday too, and I kinda forget it's a Nexus device for some reason.  Probably because I run it stock and I don't flash the hell out of it like I did with the phone.

Yep, the Moto X does look and feel like the GNex, but that's where the similarities end I think.

Let us know if you try Carbon and what you think.

Re: N7...I just have it unlocked.  That's it.

Re: GN/Moto X...we forget now, but the leap from GB => ICS was massive.  Perhaps it's unfair to put that squarely on the GN's shoulders, but alas...it was also promoted (initially) as being THE Android device to take down the iPhone.  Sorta like what the X is now.

Re: GN/Moto X...we forget now, but the leap from GB => ICS was massive.

Very true.  I remember seeing this commercial and I was hooked, and totally psyched to get my hands on this "revolutionary" device.  I would play this over and over for my (then) 2 year old son, and he would start trying to do the beatbox stuff...too funny.
