One of the main selling points of the Nexus line is that you're guaranteed to get the latest updates first for at least a few years after the device's release. With the freshly announced Android 4.4, that still remains true.

Google announced that the Nexus 4, 7(presumably both versions), and 10 will be getting the update within the next few weeks.

And as a treat for those sporting the GPE S4 or One, you can expect the same thing apparently.

Apparently not to the Galaxy Nexus, though.

Sucks, but makes sense.  TI = out of business.  That and I think you're only guaranteed X amount of updates, and that was exhausted by 4.3.

Very likely.  Not very surprising.  Just like we are not seeing the N5 going to Verizon.

Ya I just bought a new Verizon version that I used s-off and then unlocked. Then installed a GPE port. The Dev that did it is waiting until 4.4 do make his normal AOSP Eclipse ROM but made this port in the mean time. It's pretty awesome.
