4.4.1 is old news! Android 4.4.2 headed to Nexus devices right now?

Droid-Life reports from multiple sources that Android 4.4.2 is now making the rounds to the Nexus 4, 5, and 7 (both 2012 and 2013 models.) Some users are reporting a direct update to 4.4.2 even though they had not yet received the 4.4.1 update.
 
Sprint has listed the update on their website has listed the following changes:
  • Fix for clearing the VM Indicator
  • Fix for delivery of the VM Indicator
  • Various additional software fixes
  • Security enhancements
We'll be sure to let you all know more details as they arrive.

I saw this and I was like, WFT?!  I haven't even received 4.4.1 yet on my N5!

I saw this and I was like, WFT?!  I haven't even received 4.4.1 yet on my N5!  

 

You're certainly not the only one. Seems very likely that you'll just go straight to 4.4.2.

It just did.  The second I posted the phone had the icon show up letting me know the update was ready.  :)

So far, so good. The two things I've noticed are that the camera is faster and that the speaker is working better.  My speaker used to "crack" when listening to music using Play Music but that's gone now.  I still have a bug with notifications related to Google+ (sound cannot be set) but this may be a Google+ app bug and not a system bug.
